ICOH Participates in the FDI World Dental Congress 2025 in Shanghai, China

The Intercountry Centre for Oral Health (ICOH) proudly participated in the 2025 FDI World Dental Congress held in Shanghai,China, a landmark event that brought together over 35,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors from across the globe. The FDI, a global body representing 191 dental associations in 134 countries, continues to champion advocacy for global oral health, policy reform, research, grants, and professional development.

This year’s Congress featured the World Dental Parliament, the Congress of Continental Organizations of the FDI World Dental Federation, didactic educational programs, a scientific conference with abstract presentations, a Youth Forum, and the launch of innovative oral health programs and products.

The event provided an excellent platform to strengthen global collaborations, explore opportunities in capacity building, oral health advocacy, clinical practice, and research, as well as engage with cutting-edge technologies in modern dentistry. Representing ICOH at the Congress were Dr. G.A. Chukwu, Dr. B.T. Ojukwu, and Dr. U.C. Nnawuihe, with the immense support of the Director/CEO, Dr. Olaniyi O. Taiwo.
